Model history

In the key North American market, the premiere of the third generation Lexus LS took place in 2000. In Japan, a similar sedan was known as the Toyota Celsior. With the change of generations, the concept of the flagship has not changed: strict design, chic finishing materials, the richest equipment and the only engine option. Under the hood of the LS 430 they placed a V8 with the 3UZ-FE index, a volume of 4.3 liters and a power of 290 hp, which was paired with a five-speed automatic.
