1. Oxidation of contacts and connectors

🔧 Problem: Over time, the contacts of electrical connectors oxidize, which causes interruptions in the operation of various systems (headlights, windows, sensors).

✅ Solution:

Clean the contacts with a spray for electrical wiring (WD-40 Contact Cleaner, Liqui Moly Kontaktreiniger).

Use dielectric grease to prevent re-oxidation.

2. Problems with the generator and battery charging

🔧 Problem:

Insufficient battery charge, rapid discharge.

The "Battery" lamp on the dashboard lights up.

✅ Solution:

Check the condition of the brushes and diode bridge of the generator.

Replace the generator belt if it is stretched or cracked.

3. Blown fuses and relays

🔧 Problem:

The windows, heater, cigarette lighter or lighting do not work.

Fuses constantly blow, indicating a short circuit.

Find and fix the short circuit with a multimeter.
