Lexus LX
The third generation of the model appeared in 2007 and became, in fact, an ideal guide on how not to spoil the existing one. His predecessor, the LX 470, even in his tenure, managed to ascend to the rank of almost saints and immaculate. Of course, the 570 can be criticized for excessive bulkiness, for extortionate fuel consumption in city driving.
LX has few diseases. Moreover, regular maintenance can significantly extend a trouble-free existence. One of the vulnerabilities is the pneumatic-hydraulic suspension. True, she begins to act up only after 100,000 km of proper operation. Four hydraulic accumulators (hydrospheres) are paired with shock absorbers. Over time, the hydrosphere loses its tightness
Body
Weaknesses in the paintwork of the body for the reporting period have not yet been found. Corrosion can settle in places where the intervention was made: poorly repaired body parts, the place where the towbar is attached. The only thing that can upset is the loss of the presentation of chrome fittings. But here it remains to blame only the climate.
Engine
Today it is difficult to determine the statistical limit beyond which the LX 570 engine begins to attract the attention of mechanics. However, the sore behind him is still listed - this is a pump. Replacing the "unofficial" will cost 7-8 thousand UAH. Few complain about the failure of the injector purge valves. But this problem was typical for cars made in 2008.
Suspension
Our roads have a bad effect on the front levers, although a mileage of 120,000–140,000 km for these parts is a common thing. But after this milestone, replacement is almost inevitable. It happens that the body height sensors fail. There are three of them in total - two in front and one in the back, but if one of them is "sour", did not endure frost or road dirt, then all three stop working.
Electrician
Despite the abundance of electronics, there were no complaints about its system malfunctions. Unless some are not satisfied with the incorrect algorithm of the system for automatically turning off the high beam.
Transmission
The transmission in this car is far from the simplest in design, but there is almost nothing to say about it. If the oil and oil filter are changed regularly, the automatic transmission will operate reliably and for a long time. Although there are exceptions to the rule, of course.
